30 Polish companies are currently working to open their headquarters in the Kingdom

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gavkowski confirmed that 30 Polish companies are currently working to open their headquarters in the Kingdom.
He explained that his country’s government is ready to support Saudi projects and investments in Poland, and to provide them with all guarantees and facilities.
This came during his meeting with the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan bin Mujab Al-Huwaizi, and a number of Saudi investors, at the Federation’s headquarters, with the participation of officials and representatives of government agencies from the two countries.

An inspiring experience in the Kingdom

Gavkowski said: The Kingdom’s experience in the field of technology, digitization and artificial intelligence represents an inspiring experience and a role model in the Middle East.
He revealed that a number of Polish companies obtained licenses to open headquarters and branches in the Kingdom.

The Kingdom is Poland’s best partner

The Assistant Minister of Investment and CEO of the Investment Marketing Authority, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Mubarak said that the Kingdom is Poland’s best partner in the sectors of communications, information technology, data centers and artificial intelligence, with its digital infrastructure being the best in the world.
He pointed to opportunities for cooperation in the field of food security and agriculture and benefiting from Poland’s strategic location to enable Saudi companies to access the Polish and Arab markets.

Cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries

President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, explained that the meeting comes as an extension of the successes and positive outcomes of the recent visit of the Federation delegation to Poland.
He stressed his aspiration for more cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries, to raise the level of trade exchange from its current levels, estimated at about $9 billion, to broader horizons.

Opening headquarters for Polish companies

The Chairman of the Saudi-Polish Business Council, Abdullah Abu Dabil, also stated that Polish companies will work to open their headquarters in the Kingdom during the first quarter of 2025.
He added that the Council is working to develop a joint action plan in cooperation with the authorities in the two countries, and to hold an exhibition for Polish companies in the Kingdom.
The meeting witnessed the presentation of presentations from the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority and the corresponding bodies in Poland, which addressed the services provided by those bodies, the components of the digital infrastructure in the two countries, the investment opportunities available in the technology and technology sectors, and digital transformation in the two countries.
