His Excellency Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmuj Al Dhaheri, Member of the Board of Directors of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and Chairman of the Mixed Martial Arts Committee, stressed the importance of the tournament, which is organized within the Federation’s strategy, which aims to focus on emerging talents and build a new generation of athletes capable of representing the country and continuing the process of achievements in various continental forums. He added that the tournament consolidates the effective partnership between the federation and the clubs, to qualify and prepare players according to the highest standards, and these efforts embody the clear vision of anticipating the future of mixed martial arts, and strengthening the country’s position as a leading destination for developing and creating champions.
For his part, Mansour Al Zaabi, 16 years old, a player at the Team Nogueira Dubai Academy, who competes in the 56 kg weight category, said that the tournament represents an important experience for him and his colleagues, to test their skills by facing competitors with a high level of performance, noting that These strong fights help them develop their skills and enhance their readiness for future challenges.
