المملكة: On Arabic Language Day… “roads” explain the types of fonts on information boards

The General Authority of Roads clarified the types of fonts approved for directional signs in the Saudi road code, in conjunction with the International Arabic Language Day, indicating that the Naskh font is used in all directional signs except for the Medina region, which adopts the “Madina font.”

The General Authority for Roads recently launched the Saudi Road Code, which unifies standards for roads, including approved lines.
The code is in the indicative stage, which ends at the end of the current year, 2024 AD, while the code will be binding on government agencies starting from the first of next January 2025 AD, and it will be binding on the private sector starting from the first of June 2025 AD.
