Cairo Film Festival films on the Oscar shortlist

The American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the inclusion of three films screened at the 45th Cairo International Film Festival on the short list for the Best International Film Award. The films are: "From Distance Zero" From Palestine, "I’m still here" From Brazil, and “Dahomey” From Senegal.
