The Riyadh Theater Festival shines in its third day with theatrical and entertainment performances

The activities of the third day included a workshop entitled "Theatrical space and scenography" Presented by Muhammad Jameel.

It focused on the conceptual dimension of scenography as an active element in building the directorial vision, and its role in transforming the theatrical space into an expressive medium that integrates with the dramatic text, through the use of light, mass, movement, and visual elements, which contributes to deepening the aesthetic and artistic experience of the participants.
Within the theatrical performances, a play was presented. "The third panel" For the Taif Theater Group, it dealt with the internal conflict of a theater group searching for its identity amid the multiplicity of artistic styles, presenting a dramatic treatment that combines comedy, drama, and absurdity. To discuss the artist’s issues and reality, and raise questions about the meaning between creativity and matter.
The Artistic Message
The presentation was followed by a critical reading presented by film critic Ayed Al-Baqami, in which he discussed the dramatic structure of the work, its directorial choices, and its symbolic connotations, highlighting the tools of narration, the use of visual elements and their impact in conveying the artistic message; Which contributed to enriching the artistic discussion and deepening the audience’s interaction with the theatrical work.
The activities accompanying the third day varied between short performances that added a lively and interactive atmosphere to the festival, in addition to performances "Stand-up comedy" It provided enjoyable entertainment experiences for visitors.
