Crowning the winners of the Madinat Zayed decoration competition
ABU DHABI, 18th December, 2018 (WAM) – The Madinat Zayed Mazainah at Al Dhafra Festival crowned, this evening, the winners of the seventh day’s competitions for the “Sun Al Thanaya” round of the local camels, the Majahim, the purebreds, and the Wadha, and the Their Highnesses the Sheikhs (Al-Lakaya and Radio) round for the Majahim category, at the Mazayna site in the city of Zayed. Zayed in Al Dhafra area in Abu Dhabi.
The guest of honor, Aswad Amber, crowned Al-Russ Al-Amiri, and Abdullah Butti Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of the Heritage Awareness and Knowledge Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the winners of the competitions, amid a large presence of camel owners, lovers of heritage auctions, and visitors to the auctions.
This morning, the camels participating in the annual rounds of Sharaya, Talad, and partners from the locals and Majahim, and the yearling hybrids, Asayel and Al-Wadh, entered Shabouk to spend the night, in preparation for presenting them to the relevant committees, and the results will be announced tomorrow evening.
