Liverpool narrowly wins over Southampton with substitutes and qualifies for the Caparao semi-finals
Liverpool won against its host Southampton, by two goals to one, in the match that was held at Saint Mary’s Stadium, as part of the quarter-finals of the English Professional League Cup, “Carabao” Season 2024-2025.
Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott scored in the 24th and 32nd minutes, and Archer reduced the difference in the 59th minute, ending the match with two goals to one.
