Kuwait, December 20 / WAM / The Spanish coach, Luis Garcia, the coach of the Qatari national team, confirmed that the team has overcome the period of bad results in the recent period, and has great confidence in the players to provide the best performance in the “Gulf Zain 26” championship competitions in Kuwait.
In statements during a press conference today in Kuwait, Garcia expressed his aspiration with the players to achieve positive results in the tournament, especially since the professional mentality of the Qatari national team players helped him greatly in facilitating his work with the national team during the recent period.
He expressed his feeling of enthusiasm, passion and ambition to achieve the desired results in the Gulf 26 competitions, amid the atmosphere of competition with other teams, noting the possibility that the player Akram Afif will not participate with the national team tomorrow against the Emirates.
Assem Madibo, the Qatari team player, confirmed that they are fully prepared to face the UAE team and reach the furthest stage of the tournament with strong performances in all matches, noting that the loss that the Qatari team suffered against the UAE recently was in a different tournament.
