Humaid bin Rashid inaugurates the “Aisha Mosque” in the city of Ain Odeh, Morocco
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, opened the Aisha Mosque, in the city of Ain Aouda in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, which was built at the expense of His Highness.
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman stressed that the mosque is a distinguished Islamic landmark, whose goodness and benefit will spread to the residents of the city of Ain Awda, and its achievement comes to serve the people of the region, and to enhance the human and spiritual values that the UAE seeks to devote and to support the strong ties between the peoples of the two countries.
His Highness added that the UAE and Morocco are linked by fraternal and historical relations. Their prayers were established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and King Hassan II, “may God have mercy on them,” and the leaderships of the two brotherly countries were keen to strengthen them under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.” “God,” and his brother, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco
His Highness the Ruler of Ajman performed the Friday prayer in the mosque, and the prayer was performed alongside His Highness by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, a number of senior officials in the state and Morocco, and crowds of worshipers from residents of the region.
The mosque was built in the Islamic architectural style, on an area of 16,000 square meters, with a building area of 3,900 square metres, and its implementation took approximately 32 months.
Aisha Mosque accommodates 4,500 worshipers indoors, while it accommodates about 10,000 worshipers in the outdoor spaces.
Worshipers from the Moroccan city thanked His Highness the Ruler of Ajman for his initiative to build the mosque to serve the residents of the region, praying to God to reward him well on their behalf, and to continue the progress and prosperity of the UAE..
