Maui.. A body was found in the cavity of one of the wheels of an American plane

Police on the island of Maui, one of the islands in the US state of Hawaii, are investigating the discovery of a body in the wheel well of a United Airlines plane after it landed on Maui, the airline and police department said in two statements on Wednesday.
United Airlines said in an email statement that the body was found in the cavity of one of the main landing wheels of Flight No. 202, which landed at Kahului Airport from Chicago on Tuesday.

Circumstances of the discovery of the body

The airline said the wheel well of the Boeing 787-10 could only be accessed from outside the plane, and it was unclear how or when the person got there.

The Maui Police Department said in an emailed statement that it is conducting an extensive investigation into the circumstances of the discovery of the body.
Neither United Airlines nor Maui police provided further information.
