Japan Airlines is under a cyber attack

Japan Airlines was subjected to a cyber attack, which it said may affect its flights inside and outside the country.
Japan Airlines said on Thursday that it had been subjected to a cyber attack that may affect its domestic and international flights.
The company explained in a post on the “X” platform that the attack began at 07:24 am (22:24 GMT) and affected its internal and external systems.
A Japan Airlines spokeswoman confirmed the attack, but did not provide any update on possible delays or cancellations at this time.
Delays and cancellations
The company spokeswoman told Agence France-Presse: “We confirm that we have been subjected to a cyber attack and we are dealing with the situation,” adding: “This attack is likely to have an impact on flight operations in the future.”
The spokeswoman continued: “There is a possibility of delays and cancellations,” but indicated that the company would not be able to provide details about specific delays at this time.
