The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, hosted by the National Training Academy

Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Executive Director of the National Training Academy, received today, Thursday, December 26, 2024, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, In the presence of Engineer Ghada Labib, Deputy Minister for Institutional Development, and a number of leaders from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the National Training Academy.
During the visit, Dr. Rasha Ragheb confirmed that cooperation with the Ministry of Communications continues in the areas of specialized training, stressing that the academy contributes effectively to improving Providing competencies in various technological fields by providing a package of advanced training programs in cooperation with the Ministry. This cooperation aims to raise the level of job performance of government employees and enhance capabilities in the field of information and communications technology at the state level.
The doctor added Rasha Ragheb said that the Academy seeks, through these programs, to build cadres capable of facing the challenges of the digital age and innovating technological solutions to serve Egyptian society. She indicated that this initiative comes within the plans of the National Academy and the Ministry of Communications to develop human capital and develop creative capabilities and technical skills.
For his part, Dr. Amr Talaat thanked Dr. Rasha Ragheb For the kind invitation, stressing that the launch of the national initiative “Leaders of Digital Egypt” It comes within the framework of concerted efforts between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Academy, to cooperate in implementing institutional development programs based on the importance of building government cadres and leaders in a way that keeps pace with rapid digital developments, in light of the efforts made to implement Egypt’s digital strategy. He explained that the cooperation aims to develop the trainees’ digital skills in addition to personal skills, including communication and teamwork skills. He pointed out the importance of the availability of trained human cadres as a key element in achieving digital transformation, stressing that investing in ultra-modern digital systems will not achieve the desired success unless there are leaders who possess the skills. And the capabilities necessary to manage these systems efficiently.
The visit began with an inspection tour of the academy’s buildings, followed by a group photo that included Dr. Rasha Ragheb, Dr. Amr Talaat, and engineer Ghada Labib with the initiative’s graduates, then an open meeting with the graduates. The meeting ended with the graduates directing a set of questions and suggestions to Dr. Rasha Ragheb and Dr. Amr Talaat, which covered the topics of digital development, management, and leadership.
The National Initiative for Qualifying Egypt’s Digital Leaders
The activities of the training program “Leaders of Digital Egypt” were launched On November 10, 2024, within the framework of cooperation between the National Training Academy and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The program aims to train 176 trainees from the heads of central departments in ministries, governorates and public bodies, directors of service directorates in the governorates, workers in the offices of governors and their deputies, in addition to workers in the technical offices of ministers, governors and their deputies.
