Abu Dhabi Police adopts a plan to secure New Year’s celebrations in 2025

Abu Dhabi, December 27 / WAM / Abu Dhabi Police adopted a security plan to secure New Year’s celebrations for the New Year 2025 in all regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with strategic partners, to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and reduce traffic congestion.
Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, Director of the Central Operations Sector, explained that Abu Dhabi Police has prepared a joint security plan to secure tourist areas, commercial centers and traffic during New Year celebrations, to ensure the security and safety of the public.
The Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate in the Central Operations Sector confirmed its readiness to enhance traffic safety by taking the necessary precautions and measures and urged road users to pay attention and adhere to the traffic law and speed limits, not to be busy with the phone while driving, and to leave a sufficient safety distance between vehicles.
It warned against uncivilized practices, such as using types of spraying (party spray), reckless driving, and making noise, and called for adherence to guidelines and advice that aim to provide protection and safety and create the atmosphere for the success of events and activities and bring happiness to the public in the moments of celebrations to welcome the New Year, and reflect the honorable image of the state.
The Command and Control Center of the Operations Department in the Central Operations Sector completed its preparations for the New Year and New Year celebrations.
