المملكة: In a week… 23,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested

Joint field campaigns continue to follow up and control violators of residency, work, and border security regulations in all regions of the Kingdom.
The campaigns conducted for the period from 19 to 25 December 2024 resulted in the following results:

Arresting violators

First: The total number of violators caught in joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom reached (23,194) violators, including (13,083) violators of the residency system, (6210) violators of the border security system, and (3901) violators of the labor system.
Second: The total number of people who were arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1,536) people (41%) of whom were Yemenis, (57%) Ethiopians, and (02%) other nationalities, and (57) people were arrested for their attempt. Crossing the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (23) people involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of residency, work, and border security regulations and covering up for them were arrested.
Fourth: The total number of people currently subject to regulations implementation procedures has reached (31,139) violating expatriates, including (28,605) men and (2,534) women.
Fifth: (21,843) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, (4,025) violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and (9,904) violators were deported.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, transports them within it, provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation. The means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defaming him, and explained that this crime is considered a major crime that requires arrest, and is against honor and trust, urging people to report any cases of violation of the law. The number is (911) in the Makkah, Riyadh, and Sharqiya regions, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
