المملكة: Thwarting the smuggling of 15,000 narcotic tablets and 174 kilograms of khat in two areas

Security regiment patrols in the Asir region arrested a border security violator of Ethiopian nationality and a citizen for smuggling (15,000) pills subject to medical circulation regulation hidden in a vehicle driven by one of them in Al-Farsha Governorate.
They were arrested, legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent authority.
In the Jazan region, border guard ground patrols in the Al-Arda sector thwarted the smuggling of (120) kilograms of the narcotic khat plant.

Border Guard patrols in the Al-Dair sector in Jazan also arrested 3 violators of the border security system of Yemeni nationality, for smuggling 54 kg of Qat plant. The initial legal procedures were completed against them, and they and the seized items were handed over to the competent authority.
It called on the security authorities to report all available information to citizens and residents about any activities related to drug smuggling or drug promotion.
