The Minister of Youth and Sports mourns the volleyball player at Smouha Club

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, offered his sincere condolences to the Board of Directors of Smouha Club on the death of Omar Shaarawy, a player for the Al-Muttala volleyball team, who passed away today.

 

We ask God to cover the deceased with His vast mercy, dwell him in spacious gardens, and inspire his family and relatives patience and solace..  To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return

 

Amr Shaarawy is 15 years old, and plays in the volleyball team associated with the Smouha Club team. During the coming period, the player was exposed to a severe health problem and underwent a surgical operation, then he died a short while ago, in a very great shock to the Smouha team players.
