The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning invited local construction contractors with experience and expertise to apply for a pre-qualification tender for engineering contracting companies for Ministry of Housing projects – constructing residential homes, and recorded the highest volume of competition among 38 companies for the tender without mentioning the bid values.

Five companies competed for the Ministry of Health’s tender to replace two central chillers, two cooling water pumps, and 20 split air conditioners in the Public Health Laboratory. The lowest bid among them was 179 thousand dinars.

Gulf Air Group requested the supply of 75 screens, each of which contains a built-in or external personal computer, in sizes 40 inches and 55 inches, for the Flight Information Display System (FIDS). It received 6 bids, the lowest of which was worth 27 thousand dinars. It also requested in another tender the supply of removable plastic trays. For guidance and service tools of economic class, 7 companies participated in the tender, the lowest bid among them was 89 thousand dinars.

Only one company applied for the Ministry of Information’s tender to operate the 87.6MHz FM Indian entertainment radio channel from the 24X7 radio studio. The value of the bid amounted to 9,000 dinars, and only one company applied for the Electricity and Water Authority’s “Planning and Studies Department” tender for electrical works. And Civil Affairs to build a new main electricity transmission station with a voltage of 400 kilovolts in the Sitra Industrial Area, and the value of the tender amounted to 58.5 million dinars.

10 companies competed for the Electricity and Water Authority’s tender to establish a solar photovoltaic power station with a capacity of 44 megawatts at peak on the University of Bahrain campus according to the capital expenditure model. Two bids were frozen and two were accepted according to conditions, but the values ​​of the bids were not mentioned in them, while Bahrain Polytechnic requested a tender to provide drivers. The pruning specialist and landscaping assistants for landscaping the college’s gardens were submitted by two companies, and the lowest bid between them was 116 thousand. Dinar.
