المملكة: The Council of the Health Specialties Commission approves the 2025 strategy

The Board of Trustees of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, headed by the Minister of Health, Mr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, held its 97th meeting, at the Commission’s headquarters in Riyadh.
He expressed his thanks to the wise leadership for the support, attention and generous care received by the health sector for the graduates of the programs of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties for the year 2024.

He praised the success of the graduation ceremony, which is the largest in history, as the number of graduates reached more than 13,000 male and female graduates from the programs of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
He appreciated the efforts of the Authority and its employees to organize the ceremony, which was attended by more than 20,000 graduates and their families.
The Council approved the authority’s strategy for 2025-2030, which came in line with the transformation in the health system.

It aims to strengthen the position of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a major enabler of the health sector locally and globally, by enabling health practitioners to compete globally.
As well as taking advantage of global opportunities to attract talent to the Kingdom, expand the scope of service provision globally, and contribute to the Kingdom’s important role in bridging the global gap in the health workforce.
Also making the Saudi Board one of the first choices that attract the best minds of health practitioners globally.

Performance indicators

The Council also reviewed the performance indicators report for the fourth quarter of the year, highlighting the objectives, projects and initiatives achieved within the Authority’s tasks and work.
The Council concluded its meeting, praising what was achieved during the last period, and affirming its full support for achieving the goals of the next stage.

13 thousand graduates, male and female

About two weeks ago, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties celebrated the graduation of more than 13,000 male and female graduates from the Saudi Board programs and the Health Academy programs for the year 2024, at the Awal Park Stadium at King Saud University.
This came under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him.

The Minister of Health, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Commission, Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, confirmed that the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties contributed to ensuring the highest quality standards in health education and training, in partnership with the education system.
