A report issued today by the Emirates College for Educational Development stated that the year 2024 witnessed the college launching its new corporate strategy and identity, and strengthening its global partnerships by launching the second phase of the strategic framework for educational excellence, in cooperation with the National Institute of Education in Singapore, which enhances the college’s ability to provide teachers and educators with innovative skills. As global leaders; While preserving Emirati values ​​and keeping pace with the country’s educational priorities.

The Center for Continuing Education at the Emirates College for Educational Development, accredited by the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and the National Qualifications Center, has trained more than 17,000 educators in about 350 professional development programs, in addition to contributing more than 7 million educational hours, which reflects its important role in providing teachers with skills. necessary for the future.

More than 75 male and female students enrolled in the college’s newly launched specialized tracks in the field of Arabic language and Islamic studies, to enable aspiring educators and teachers to obtain accredited academic programs in the specializations of the Arabic language and Islamic studies.

The college recorded an increase in the number of students enrolled for the academic year 2024-2025 by 131%, and achieved a 100% employment rate for its graduates, which confirms the success of its academic programs in empowering qualified teachers in various educational specializations. It completed the training of 140 educational leaders, within the comprehensive program for building leadership capabilities. Educational.

The Emirates College for Educational Development has strengthened its leadership in the field of educational research, with its global research contributions, as members of the educational body published more than 30 articles in high-level academic journals, and presented more than 100 research papers in prestigious international conferences, in addition to producing more than 10 summaries of existing educational policies. Through the management of 16 active research grants, the Emirates College for Educational Development provided a number of research in very important fields such as educational technology, science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and early childhood development, and its research efforts led to an agreement to publish research books in cooperation with international publishing houses such as the Publishing House. The Emirates College for Educational Development has linked more than 16 schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, through the Innovative Learning Communities Network initiative, with the aim of promoting innovative research-based teaching and leadership practices while facilitating the exchange of experiences and enhancing educational standards in the UAE.

The college expanded its professional development platforms, including the “I Learn” forum, a monthly platform that brings together teachers, educators, researchers, and academics to share best teaching and pedagogical practices, and explore developments in the educational field.
