المملكة: Jeddah.. Details of the launch of the Global Entrepreneurship Award competitions for students
This comes in a step that strengthens the Kingdom’s position as an incubator for creative ideas and ambitious entrepreneurs.
Global Student Entrepreneurship Award competitions
The Global Entrepreneurship Organization EO – Kingdom Branch explained that it seeks, through these competitions, to bring about meaningful change through innovation in entrepreneurship.
This is done by motivating and supporting student entrepreneurs around the world to start their projects and maintain their continuity due to the importance of the entrepreneurship sector in enhancing the economies and growth of countries.
She pointed out that the award is the first global competition for students who own and manage a company or business, as candidates compete against their peers from all over the world in a series of local and national competitions.
Prizes totaling $100,000
The award targets students between the ages of 18 and 30, provided that the student is the owner of a business that has been in business for at least six months, without the need for a commercial register.
The winner of the local qualifiers will qualify to represent the Kingdom in the finals against participants from more than 50 countries around the world.
This is to compete for prizes totaling $100,000, in addition to support in building an international network of relationships and guidance.
