Falaj Al Mualla Festival supports entrepreneurs and highlights the ancient heritage of Umm Al Quwain

Umm Al Quwain, 4 January / WAM / The second Falaj Al Mualla Winter Festival, whose activities were launched yesterday evening, organized by the Businesswomen’s Council and sponsored by the Department of Tourism and Antiquities and the Umm Al Quwain Chamber, constitutes an important platform to support entrepreneurs and owners of small projects, as well as highlighting the distinctive geographical and heritage character of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. .

Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain, inspected the activities of the festival, which is held in the Falaj Al Mualla Fort for three days, and includes an exhibition of productive families, classic car shows, in addition to folklore and heritage shows presented by the people of the region, and various entertainment segments for the public. .

Her Excellency Aisha Laitem, Member of the Federal National Council and Chairwoman of the Umm Al Quwain Businesswomen’s Council, confirmed that the festival is one of the engines supporting entrepreneurs and the tourism sector in the emirate, and represents an interactive platform that brings together various economic and cultural sectors, giving visitors and participants an opportunity to communicate, innovate and explore new opportunities. In addition to its contribution to highlighting the emirate as a promising tourist destination that carries within it an ancient cultural heritage and distinguished investment potential.

During his inspection tour of the festival, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla was accompanied by His Excellency Ahmed Khalfan Misfer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Umm Al Quwain Chamber, Her Excellency Aisha Rashid Latim, Her Excellency Mona Rashid Tahnoun, Member of the Federal National Council, Haitham Sultan, Director General of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain, and members of The Chamber’s Board of Directors, officials and media professionals.
