The Russian Embassy lays a wreath on the graves of Russian sailors in Port Said

 The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Egypt in Port Said Governorate held a wreath-laying ceremony on the graves of Russian sailors who died on this day in 1917 as a result of the explosion of the battleship “Peresvet.” On a German mine near the Suez Canal. The traditional ceremony in memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the homeland during World War I and other periods was attended by Russian Ambassador Georgy Borisenko, employees of the diplomatic mission, officers of the military attaché and members of their families.
