"Dubai Culture" Participate in an exhibition "Maison Objet" In France

DUBAI, 6 JANUARY / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” is participating in the “Maison Objet” international exhibition, scheduled to be held in Paris from January 16 to 20.
Participation comes within the framework of the “Emirates Design Oasis”, which follows the “Dubai Cultural Grant” program and falls under the emirate’s quality of life strategy, as the program aims to enable 15 designers residing in the Emirates to display their creativity in the exhibition specialized in home decor and lifestyle.
Dubai Culture aims to support the cultural and creative sector in Dubai by opening creative spaces and enhancing the presence of designers internationally to consolidate Dubai’s position as a global center for the creative economy.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, stressed the importance of the design sector and its role in enhancing Dubai’s global position, pointing to Dubai Culture’s interest in enhancing its competitiveness and developing it through initiatives that stimulate creativity.
He explained that the “Maison Objet Exhibition” provides a platform to highlight the creativity of local talents in designing furniture and home products.
The exhibits include designs by male and female artists from the Emirates inspired by traditional crafts such as glass sculptures and palm leaf furniture.
