Debris fills the streets.. The death toll from the devastating Tibet earthquake rises to 126

A strong earthquake struck a high area in western China and areas of Nepal on Tuesday, causing damage to hundreds of homes, scattering rubble and rubble in the streets and killing at least 126 people in Tibet.
While many people are still trapped while dozens of aftershocks hit the remote area.
The official Xinhua news agency said that at least 188 people were injured in Tibet on the Chinese side of the border.

More than a thousand homes were destroyed in the barren and remote region, according to state-run China Central Television.
In the video clip broadcast on television, rubble scattered in the streets and destroyed cars appeared, and people in northeastern Nepal felt the earthquake severely, but there were no initial reports of injuries or damage, according to the country’s National Emergency Operations Center.
