"Compete" Records inspiring Emirati success stories in the private sector

Abu Dhabi, 8 January / WAM / The successes achieved by the Emirates Competitiveness Council through the various “NAFES” initiatives have produced many inspiring stories of national competencies during 2024. She stressed that the private sector provides a professional path full of opportunities that help in growth, innovation, and contribution to the nation’s prosperity, in addition to acquiring diverse skills and experiences that make qualitative differences in scientific and practical life, noting that what distinguishes the private sector is its proactiveness in developing personal skills.

Jamal Al Suwaidi, a communications executive at an international food sector company, reviewed his experience, which extends for about 6 years in the private sector and is rich in distinguished skills, including effective communication and linking between the company and government departments as a link between the two parties to introduce the products.

He said that the chosen path is characterized by a vibrant environment, creates many opportunities for personal and professional growth, and makes a real difference in the career path, by seizing the opportunities available in the sector and focusing on insisting on success and the ability to adapt and develop continuously with changes in the profession.

Regarding the role of Emirati competencies in the health sector, Nour Al Ameri, a registered nurse in one of the health care facilities in the country, has established her presence in this vital sector, with her experience extending for about 5 years in the private sector, benefiting from leadership skills and working on development projects in the facility in addition to her daily tasks.
