Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – and on his behalf, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, attends the closing ceremony to honor the winners of the local competition on King Salman bin Abdulaziz Award for Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation of the Holy Qur’anat its twenty-seventh session "For boys"While the closing ceremony will be held to honor the winners of the competition in honor of the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin, tomorrow evening, the second Thursday of the holy month of Ramadan, as part of the competition organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance during the period from 25 to 29 Shaaban, and Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin, the total of whose prizes reached more than seven million riyals.
At the boys’ and girls’ ceremonies, the winners and finalists will be crowned in the first three places out of the six branches of the competition, which include memorizing the Holy Qur’an in its entirety with good performance and intonation in the seven frequent recitations. His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, General Supervisor of Local and International Qur’anic Competitions, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, explained that the competition received generous support and continuous giving from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and diligent follow-up from His Highness the Crown Prince has become one of the most prominent national competitions in the competition to memorize and master the Book of God, indicating that the amount of support allocated to it has witnessed a continuous increase to motivate and encourage participants to excel.
His Excellency added that the wise leadership’s care for the Holy Qur’an extends from the era of King Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – up to this prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them -, stressing that this care It turned into a solid Islamic project that the state adopted and supported, so that it – after God’s grace – would become an important pillar in serving the Book of God, caring for its preservation and dissemination, and consolidating its values and principles that call for mercy and spreading moderation and moderation.
His Excellency asked the Most High and Almighty God to perpetuate the Kingdom’s glory, progress and prosperity, and to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Trustworthy Crown Prince with all goodness for their care.
