Launched Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, an awareness campaign under the slogan "The good of our land" Coinciding with the beginning of Blessed Ramadan 1447 AH; To encourage the consumption of national agricultural products and their transformational products, and to contribute to supporting farmers and producers, raising the agricultural domestic product, and promoting self-sufficiency, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a sustainable agricultural sector.
The campaign aims to enhance awareness of the importance of consuming agricultural and animal products, and relying on local content, such as dates, red meat, olive oil, dairy and its derivatives, honey, and poultry, in addition to millet, citrus and other products, because they are distinguished It has high quality and healthy nutritional value, and it also reflects the richness of national production and its ability to efficiently meet the needs of those fasting during the holy month.
Abundance of food products
The launch of the campaign comes "The good of our land" As an extension of the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in implementing its awareness initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness of the importance of national agricultural products, supporting the food security system, and strengthening the national economy.
The campaign coincides with the efforts of the field teams of the Ministry "the environment" During the past period, several intensive monitoring and awareness rounds were carried out on public utility markets and slaughterhouses in various regions of the Kingdom. To ensure the abundance of food products and the safety of the displayed items before the start of the holy month, to enhance compliance with health requirements and controls, and to ensure the implementation of rules and regulations that guarantee the provision of safe, high-quality products to consumers.
