It is noteworthy that the Saudi Tourism Authority announced the “Saudi Summer of Excellence Awards 2024” to honor the best tourism content that interactively reviews “Saudi Summer” activities and encourages domestic tourism.
More than 100 entities representing the public and private sectors participated in the activities of the third edition of the “Saudi Tourism Forum 2025”, which was held in the capital, Riyadh.
The forum is a comprehensive platform to review the latest developments in the Saudi tourism sector, highlight promising investment projects, develop skills and capabilities, and build new partnerships that contribute to advancing tourism development in the Kingdom.

Tourism sector in Saudi Arabia

The CEO of Domestic Tourism at the Tourism Authority, Muhammad Basrawi, confirmed that the tourism sector in the Kingdom is witnessing a continuous process of progress and rapid growth, with the achievement of record numbers and the innovation of new tourism products.
Basrawi pointed out that the Kingdom celebrated in 2023 the number of visitors reaching 100 million, in line with the ambitions of “Vision 2030” and the directives and support of the wise leadership.
He stressed that the current edition will witness more fruitful partnerships and commercial facilities in the tourism sector, in addition to launching international and local promotional campaigns to enhance the Kingdom’s position as a leading tourist destination.

Saudi Tourism Forum 2025

The Saudi Tourism Forum 2025 will be held from January 7 to 9, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and the Tourism Development Fund.
The forum seeks to provide innovative experiences to its visitors and explore the potential of the diverse tourist destinations that characterize the Kingdom, by organizing a group of diverse events and activities, including seminars, workshops and interactive exhibitions.
