Organizing a cultural forum at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs

 

The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs organized a special event to celebrate Egyptian Culture Day, under the generous sponsorship of  Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision of  Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al-Bayoumi, Secretary-General of the Council, and this event comes within the framework of the keenness to strengthen the national cultural identity and support the creative values ​​of society.

 

 The meeting began with a lecture by Dr. Hassan Khalil, Director General of the Collection and Verification of Manuscripts at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, stressed that the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs is Egypt’s window to the Islamic world, and that God Almighty appointed to the Council men who were true to what they promised God. It is.

 

He pointed out that the Council, since its inception, has been working on two wings: The Council’s publications, and the cultural and scientific activities it holds. The Council holds cultural salons, revives heritage books, and establishes the Abu Bakr al-Siddiq camp in Alexandria.

 

He explained  One of the Council’s valuable publications is: The Book of Paths of Guidance and Righteousness, which is considered one of the largest encyclopedias. It includes thirteen volumes, the Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence from the 1960s, as well as the magazines Minbar al-Islam and al-Firdaws.
