المملكة: Asir.. The Border Guard holds an awareness exhibition regarding maritime safety procedures

The General Directorate of Border Guards held an awareness exhibition to enhance awareness about maritime safety, at Al Qahma Center Port in the Asir region, in coordination with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.

Principles of maritime safety

The exhibition is part of the Directorate’s efforts to spread the culture of maritime safety and educate visitors about the dangers of the sea and the importance of adhering to guidelines and instructions related to security and safety while practicing maritime activities, and to provide advice and guidance to enhance safety behaviours.
The General Directorate of Border Guards called on everyone to adhere to maritime safety guidelines and call the numbers (911) in the Makkah and Eastern regions, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions to request assistance in emergency cases.
