The President of Cyprus receives Abdullah bin Zayed and they discuss bilateral relations and regional issues

Nicosia, 9 January / WAM / His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus, received today His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the Cypriot capital, Nicosia, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Konstantinos Kompos, Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, His Highness conveyed to His Excellency the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his wishes for Cyprus and its people continued progress and prosperity, stressing the strong and growing relations between the two countries.

For his part, the Cypriot President conveyed to His Highness his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his wishes for prosperity and prosperity for the UAE and its people, stressing the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, cooperation relations between the UAE and Cyprus were discussed, and His Highness’s talks with His Excellency the Cypriot President touched on all regional and international issues of common interest and the situation in the Middle East region.
