This came during a dialogue session entitled “How to succeed in creating content without losing yourself?”, during the activities of the One Billion Followers Summit, which was launched in Dubai today, under the slogan “Purposeful Content.”
Dr. Jana Pourslan said that she moved from the academic atmosphere to content creation about three years ago, and she was surprised by the results achieved, pointing out the importance of preparing psychologically when entering this world, so that a person may find acceptance or not, and must accept the requirements for entering this field. And its standards, the competition it will face, and the ability to adapt to new developments.
She added that no one reaches perfection, and the content creator must accept this matter. I am not satisfied with all the content I provided, but I must continue with improvement, and the content creator must not leave himself a chance to collapse, even if some of his accounts are closed, as happened with me. Dr. Jana stressed the importance of the content maker being aware, as content creation is not just sitting in front of the camera and dealing with numbers. Rather, the content maker deals with human beings, noting that the nature of audiences is emotional, and this should be understood. She said that the content creator must share his feelings with followers, but there remains a privacy that he does not share with others.
Karim Ismail pointed out that psychological fitness is necessary when entering this field, and that the content creator must deal with himself as a human being, and improve his awareness and psychological skills, stressing that despite the demand for psychological fitness, there is no complete immunity from harm, and he saw that Being immune to harm is a bad sign.

He said that the content creator must have the ability to endure, but acknowledge that he is sometimes negatively affected by comments and the like, which he sees as a sign of psychological health without surrendering to the negative effects.
Karim warned that the content creator must make his decisions without emotion, as he is establishing his own brand and identity. He explained that content creation is establishing an identity and a clear professional decision, so the content creator must set logical expectations that guarantee his success.
