The third edition of the DP World T20 Cricket Championship begins
DUBAI, 12 JANUARY / WAM / The third edition of the DP World Cricket Championship “T20” kicked off yesterday evening at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which is organized by the Emirates Cricket Council in cooperation with the International Cricket Council “ICC” and is held exclusively under the sponsorship of the DP World Group.
In the opening match of the tournament, the Dubai Capitals team, the defending champion of the second edition of the tournament, succeeded in defeating the “MI Emirates” team by one point.
Six professional teams will participate in the tournament, bringing together the most famous stars and professionals of the game in the world: Dubai Capitals, MI Emirates, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Gulf Giants, and Sharjah Warriors.
