The World Future Energy Summit 2025 kicks off tomorrow with 30,000 participants

ABU DHABI, 13 JANUARY / WAM / The World Future Energy Summit 2025, the leading event in the field of clean energy and sustainability, will be launched tomorrow, hosted by Masdar at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi.
Over the course of three days, attendees will witness high-level discussions, allowing them to learn about the latest innovative products with the opportunity to contribute to leading the world towards a more sustainable future.
The summit continues until January 16 within the framework of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, with a remarkable increase in visitor registration by 25%, strengthening its position as a platform for discussing ways of global cooperation, innovation and action, with the participation of a group of ministers and policy makers in the energy sector who will review their plans towards transformation in the energy sector and circular economies. .
The World Future Energy Summit 2025 will be held in a region committed to energy transformation and prioritize alternatives, including solar energy, bringing together more than 30,000 participants, including government officials, sector leaders and sustainability pioneers from around the world.
The event constitutes a platform to showcase the latest developments in the fields of renewable energy, green hydrogen, artificial intelligence, climate technology, circular economy principles, green finance, and sustainable cities.
A group of distinguished speakers will participate in the summit in the field of leadership and innovation, including His Excellency Engineer Sherif Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure for Energy and Petroleum Affairs. Engineer Abdel Muti Ahmed Murad, Head of the Energy Policies and Strategies Department; and Engineer Ahmed Al Shamsi, a mechanical engineer in the Water Resources Department, all from the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Other speakers include Hekkosetz, Global Electric Mobility and Middle East Leader at PwC; Fadi Qamir, Director of the Research Center for Water, Energy and Environment; Nadiaroushdi, Head of Climate at Emirates Nature-WWF; and Ghia Nakat, Executive Director of Greenpeace.
The focus of the summit agenda this year revolves primarily around the enormous potential offered by artificial intelligence, as the scheduled sessions address the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency levels, ensure security of supply, and reduce emissions in the energy sector, in addition to discussing the challenges resulting from climate change and resource management. Water and waste, and developing smart cities, including the use of real-time artificial intelligence applications to manage traffic in cities smoothly and effectively.
The presentations highlight a pioneering case study of autonomous drilling operations that achieved financial savings of US$500 million, in addition to reducing CO2 emissions by one million tons during 2023.
The World Future Energy Summit 2025 offers a rich program that includes interactive exhibitions and networking opportunities, with the participation of more than 400 exhibitors, each showcasing innovative solutions in the energy, water and waste management sectors.
It includes seven main tracks covering all aspects of the energy system, and provides visitors, delegations and exhibitors the opportunity to gain in-depth insights into the latest developments and developments affecting several areas, namely the Solar and Clean Energy Exhibition and Conference, the Water Conference, the Eco-Waste Exhibition, the Sustainable Cities Conference, and the Finance Conference. Sustainable Development, the Future of Transport Forum, and the Road to 1.5°C Conference.
On the other hand, the Climate Innovations Exchange Forum (CLIX) showcases pioneering sustainability solutions presented by women from more than 12 countries from the Americas, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Africa, in addition to the CLICX Artificial Intelligence event.
These platforms are part of the summit’s innovation path, which also includes the Green Hydrogen Innovation Center and the Clean Technology Exhibition.
The summit allows participants to attend specialized sessions that discuss vital topics including water security, green finance, and strategies for achieving carbon neutrality, in addition to the opportunity to interact directly with an elite group of experts and influential figures in the fields of renewable energy, clean technology, and policy-making.
