The Emir of Qatar receives a Hamas delegation for ceasefire negotiations

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, received today in his office at Lusail Palace the delegation of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas”. For ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, headed by Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya.

During the interview, the latest developments in the ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip, aimed at achieving a long-term truce in the Strip, were reviewed. During the interview, the Emir of Qatar renewed the State of Qatar’s firm position on the justice of the Palestinian issue, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of its independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
