"Engineers Syndicate" Organizes the Second Arab Conference on Renewable and Sustainable Energies

The Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers, in cooperation with the Federation of Arab Engineers, is organizing, during the 18th and 19th of January, a conference under the title “The Second Arab Conference on Renewable and Sustainable Energies.” The opening session of the conference will witness the participation of Engineer Tariq Al-Nabrawy – President of the Egyptian Syndicate of Engineers and Vice President of the Arab Engineers Union. Engineer Mahmoud Arafat – Secretary General of the Syndicate and Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee, Dr. Engineer Adel Al-Hadithi – Secretary General of the Union of Arab Engineers, and Dr. Engineer Naji Hussein Al-Maghrabi – Chairman of the Union’s Energy Committee, and an elite group of senior experts and specialists in the field of renewable and sustainable energy in the Arab world.
The conference activities over the two days will also witness the holding of a number of topics, with the first topic discussing “Renewable Energy Strategy – Present and Future.” The second axis discusses “Nuclear energy for electricity generation – the Dabaa Nuclear Plant,” and the third axis discusses “the Arab countries’ strategy for low-carbon hydrogen,” while the fourth axis discusses "Successful experiences of renewable energy in the Arab world".
Participating in the conference activities are Professor Dr. Muhammad Dowidar – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear Power Plants Authority, Dr. Engineer Muhammad Al-Khayyat – Chairman of the New and Renewable Energy Authority, And a number of professors at Egyptian and Arab universities, and deans and heads of departments of various engineering colleges.
