Cairo Governor: Continuing intensification of control over goods and markets

The Governor of Cairo, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, confirmed that the executive agencies in the governorate are continuing to intensify the work of monitoring all goods, controlling markets, and intensifying campaigns in coordination between the Supply Directorate, the Supply Investigations, Veterinary Medicine, Health, Food Inspectors, Utility Police, and neighborhood heads, in order to preserve the public health of citizens.
In this context, the Director of the Cairo Supply Directorate, Nasser Thabet, indicated, in a statement today, Thursday, that the agencies During this month, the Directorate’s supervisory authority was able to seize goods of unknown origin for which there are no documents, adulterated goods that do not conform to specifications, and fake sales, sold for more than the price stated on the package, and included 15 tons of flour, 2 tons of pasta, 4 tons of rice, and 285 cans of ghee. 2000 bottles of oil, 2 tons of sugar, 110 kg of halva, and 622 cans of tuna.
