Latifa bint Mohammed opens the art exhibition "The sublime nature of existence"

DUBAI, 17 JANUARY / WAM / Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, opened today, Friday, at Summer Garden ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai, the “The Sublime Nature of Existence” exhibition, organized by the artist Ambika. Hinduja Maker, in collaboration with the Arts Program at ICD Brookfield Place.
The exhibition highlights the power of the arts in enriching daily life by supporting local, regional and international talents, and celebrates a new collection of artistic works by contemporary artists from around the world, showcasing the depth of the relationship between man and nature, through multiple experiences that highlight several elements such as water, fire, earth and air.

Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum toured the exhibition, during which she viewed the various artistic works, each of which constituted an expressive and artistic experience vibrant with creativity, and was distinguished by the uniqueness of its ideas, methods and method of presentation. Her Highness also met with a number of the participating artists, praising the excellence of their innovative visions. The quality of their artistic works reflects their ability to express man’s relationship with nature, and contributes to enriching the cultural movement in Dubai.
Her Highness pointed out that the exhibition represents a distinctive global experience that reflects Dubai’s cultural diversity and its inspiring creative capabilities and climates, and the ability to build bridges of communication between cultures, which enhances the emirate’s leadership and consolidates its position on the international scene as an incubator of creativity and a forum for talents.
Fifteen creatives and artists from the region and the world will participate in the exhibition, which will continue until February 22nd. They are the American artist Jacob Hashimoto, the French designer and artist Matthew Lenore, the Irish designer Joseph Walsh, the American artist Bill Claps, who specializes in multimedia arts, and the Belgian sculptor and artist Fred Erdekens. The Lebanese sculptor Nadim Karam, the Brazilian artist Janina Melo, the English artist Michelle McKinney, and the German artist specializing in glass, Simon. Bigger, the Lebanese-Mexican artist Sami Hayek, the Belgian artist Stefan Peters, the English multimedia sculptor Rowan Mersch, the English wax sculptor Annette Townsend, the French artist Mark Bruce, the Indian artist, designer and curator Ambika Hinduja, and the Indian author, sound artist and producer Satya. The exhibition presents a new artistic vision through the innovative works of the artists, and the artistic experience presented by the artist Ambika Hinduja Maker, founder and creative director of Impeccable Imagination, which explores the different aspects of the “sublime nature of existence” and adopts the modern concept of the Japanese term “Ukyo”, which means living in The moment away from the worries of life.
The exhibition also includes the “Enchanting Sound Environment” experience prepared by composer and sound artist Satya Hinduja, through which she seeks to redefine the power of sound perception and its impact on human capabilities, by combining heritage and advanced technology and taking advantage of the therapeutic potential of sound.
