Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa is crowned champion of Formula 4 boats

ABU DHABI, 20 JANUARY / WAM / Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, President of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, was crowned champions of the third round of the Emirates Formula 4 Boat Championship, in Abu Dhabi.

Sultan Al Falahi, captain of boat 3, topped the first day’s competitions, and Obaid Mubarak, captain of boat 7 from the “Obaid Marine” team, came second, and third was Khaled Sultan Al Mazmi, captain of boat 8 from the Sharjah team.

Sultan Al-Falahi was able to achieve the round title in the closing competitions of the second day, and Obaid Mubarak came second, and Salem Al-Yafei, captain of boat 10 from the Obaid Marine team, came third.

12 contestants from the Emirates, Kuwait, Yemen and Sudan participated in the competitions, with great competitive levels to reach the first places.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan praised the success of the tournament, which strengthens the UAE’s leadership in organizing international sporting events, and its keenness to develop marine sports and enhance its position on the international scene.

He said that the success of the tournament is the result of the hard work and commitment shown by all participants and organizers, and also reflects the interest in developing marine sports, whether at the level of infrastructure or organization, and the large turnout that the tournament witnessed, whether by competitors or fans, confirms everyone’s passion for the sport of speedboats. .
