The UAE supports the operation of bakeries in southern Gaza within the “Subsidized Bread” project

The United Arab Emirates continues its humanitarian efforts in Gaza as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3 to support the critical humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The “Fortified Bread” project comes within these efforts to support the operation of 14 bakeries in Khan Yunis and Al-Wusta, by providing bread production requirements and wheat flour for daily distribution to citizens and displaced people, which contributes to enhancing food security despite the severe wheat shortage crisis.
The Director of the UAE Mission, Hamad Al Neyadi, confirmed that this support comes within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to the residents of the Gaza Strip and to help them overcome living conditions and meet their basic needs.
Sustainable support
He explained that the “Fortified Bread” project is a model of sustainable support to meet the needs of affected families and ensure basic food, indicating that Operation “Gallant Knight 3” aims to support vital sectors in Gaza, including food and health, to enhance human stability in the region.
It is noteworthy that the major phase of Operation “Gallant Knight 3” witnesses the intensification of humanitarian and relief support in the Gaza Strip after the start of the implementation of the truce, with a focus on meeting urgent needs and implementing development projects to improve the quality of life, in a way that reflects the humanitarian values of the UAE.
