Sharjah Club wins 5 championship cups "Emirates Karate"

Sharjah, January 21 / WAM / Sharjah Sports Club won five cups in the Emirates Karate Cup Championship (Kata – Kumite) in the tournament, which lasted for 4 rounds and was hosted by the club hall in Al Hazana, with the participation of 148 male and female players from 11 clubs in the country.
The club’s players were able to win all the cups offered for the male category, namely the Men’s Cup, the Under-21 Cup, the Youth Cup, the Junior Cup, and the Cubs Cup.
It is noteworthy that the Emirates Karate Cup Championship is a new tournament created by the Karate Federation in which all private clubs and centers participated. While Sharjah Club players won the largest number of medals, reaching 87 various medals.
Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, member of the Board of Directors and Head of Individual Games at the club, said that the karate team has become a difficult number in the country and was able to win a significant number of championships, indicating that these results and achievements are the harvest of the strategic plans that the administration developed 4 seasons ago.
Al-Hajri praised the fighting performance of the club players in the tournament and their great desire to add kumite cups to the club after obtaining all the cups in kata, congratulating the work team, including the technical and administrative staff and players.
He stressed that the club is working according to carefully considered and prepared plans aimed at continuing to achieve results and providing the country’s teams with distinguished players who can raise the nation’s flag in foreign forums.
