67,403 inspection visits were carried out by Ras Al Khaimah Economy last year
Ras Al Khaimah, January 23 / WAM / The Department of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah carried out 67,403 inspection visits last year, which resulted in monitoring a number of violations in commercial establishments that did not comply with the laws and regulations and taking legal measures in their regard.
The percentage of establishments complying with the laws and regulations reached 88% of the total establishments operating in the emirate.
Faisal Aliyoun, Director of the Commercial Control and Protection Department at Ras Al Khaimah Economy, explained that the number of oversight campaigns implemented reached (108) campaigns during the year 2024, stressing that the supervisory team exercises its awareness role throughout the year by directing commercial establishments regarding the laws and regulations in force in the emirate.
