Mustafa Abu Bakr, Secretary of the Congress Party in Assiut Governorate, congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Minister of Interior, and police officers and personnel on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Egyptian Police Day, saying: This anniversary today reminds us of the values Sacrifice, courage and redemption embodied in the heroism of policemen who gave their lives to defend the homeland.
Abu Bakr noted, in a statement To him, the anniversary of Police Day comes today in conjunction with grave challenges facing the Egyptian state, making it an opportunity to renew appreciation for everyone who exerts effort and spirit to protect Egypt’s security and stability, indicating that if the Battle of Ismailia in 1952 constituted a watershed moment in the history of the national struggle, Against the occupation, the current battle that the state is waging is no less dangerous or important, between the war on terrorism and the protection of internal and external borders, and confronting the most dangerous modern weapons, which is the war of rumors and systematic lies targeting Undermining confidence between the people and their institutions.
The Secretary of the Congress Party in Assiut stressed the importance of national alignment and popular cohesion as the first line of defense against all plans that threaten the country’s security, indicating that the Egyptian people possess historical awareness and the ability to distinguish between facts and attempts.
