Health: Examining 16.8 million initiative to early detection of chronic diseases and kidney disorder

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the examination of 16 million & nbsp; 821 thousand & nbsp; and 910 citizens, as part of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi to examine and treat chronic diseases and early detection of kidney disorder, since the start of the initiative in September 2021 until today.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the initiative operates through 3601 initial care units at the level of the Republic, and aims to early diagnosis and treat chronic diseases, and provide high quality health services to each Citizens in the older age group of 40 years, in addition to the youth category from the age of 18, who have a sick history linked to chronic diseases. The initiative provides blood pressure measurement tests, blood sugar (random and cumulative), blood fat, kidney tests, and body mass index, in addition to providing awareness services for risk factors for chronic diseases, and following the beneficiaries of the initiative, during successive visits that are determined by construction dates On the results of the initial examinations. The conditions that are discovered infection with chronic diseases (pressure, sugar) are disbursed for free from health units or are referred to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment according to the health condition of each patient, in a way that contributes to reducing the rates of chronic kidney disease, according to & nbsp; for guidelines For chronic diseases that were prepared through cooperation between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, explaining that the scientific committee of the initiative participates in the development of guidelines, and holds training courses for the medical teams participating in the initiative. Until it is confirmed that the patient has chronic renal disorder, he is referred to hospitals to receive the necessary treatment for free within the initiative, pointing to the training of medical teams in primary care units to use & laquo; the early detection device for renal disorder & raquo;
