The Emir of Kuwait receives the head of the Emirates Accounting Authority
KUWAIT, 26 JANUARY / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, received His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abu Shabas, Chairman of the Emirates Accounting Authority.
This came within the framework of the visit of the Emirates Accounting Authority delegation to the State of Kuwait, at the invitation of the Kuwaiti Audit Bureau, to strengthen bilateral relations between the two bodies and exchange experiences in various regulatory fields.
According to a press release issued by the agency today, the delegation was also received by His Highness Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, in a meeting attended by the head of the Kuwait Audit Bureau, Issam Salem Al-Roumi, and senior state officials.
During the visit, the Audit Bureau of the State of Kuwait presented a visual presentation covering the establishment of the Bureau, the entities subject to its supervision, and the control mechanisms and procedures it applies.
The visit also included a tour of the Anti-Corruption Commission “Nazaha”, where the delegation was briefed on the Commission’s most prominent competencies and its most important achievements in the field of combating corruption.
