The UAE team achieves its first victory in the Dubai International Basketball Championship
Dubai, January 26/ WAM/ The Emirates National Basketball team achieved its first victory in the Dubai International Basketball Championship, which is currently held at Al-Nasr Club in Dubai, after defeating the Jordanian Omani Federation team with a score of 97-96 in a strong match held today.
The UAE team managed to win the victory thanks to a decisive triple throw a few seconds before the end of the match, so that the team raised its score to 3 points in the first group, while the Amman Federation team reached two points.
In the second group competitions, the Libyan Al-Ahly Tripoli team topped the group after its great victory over the Philippine Zambuja, 107-84, and raised its score to 4 points, compared to two points for the Philippine team.
In the third match in the same group, Tunisia achieved its first victory at the expense of the Lebanese Al-Hikma team with a score of 87-76, and with this victory the Tunisian team raised its score to 3 points, which is the same balance of the Al-Hikma team.
