Supportive initiatives and programs
The workshop aimed to enhance the efficiency of agricultural production and enable associations to perform their development role, by reviewing supportive initiatives and programs, and discussing the challenges they face, in addition to highlighting the role of the Agricultural Development Fund in supporting associations and enhancing their capabilities, and emphasizing the importance of these associations in supporting small farmers and achieving sustainability.
It also focused on Enabling associations to benefit from available support tools, enhancing their role in value chains and agricultural marketing, while encouraging integration and exchange of experiences between them, and opening the door to dialogue with participants to benefit from their opinions and suggestions in a way that contributes to developing the agricultural sector and enhancing its contribution to achieving development goals. Agriculture, as a basic pillar for the development of the sector.
He pointed to the continuation of work to strengthen partnerships and provide means of support to empower small farmers and achieve sustainability, in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
