"Abu Dhabi Shalla" Participates in the Qatar International Optimcent Championship
Abu Dhabi, February 3 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Modern Saneh team announced its participation in the Qatar International Optimist Championship in Doha, which will start tomorrow, and will continue until February 8, with the participation of 52 seas and contestants representing 12 countries, the Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Morocco, Bahrain, and Egypt India, Iraq, Libya, Poland, Britain and Turkey.
The team’s contestant delegation includes Khalifa Al -Rumaithi, Zayed Al -Hosani, Dhayb Al -Muhairi, Rashid Al Hammadi, Hamad Al -Muhairi and coach Albert Tahran, in addition to the team’s administrator Khalifa Al Saadi.
For his part, Khalifa Al -Suwaidi, head of the Academy Department at the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, stressed that the goal of participation is to compete for the first positions and raise the Emirates flag, noting the importance of this event in developing the skills of young sailors and providing them with the necessary experiences in international championships.
He pointed to the development of the skills of the team’s heroes and their high capabilities that qualify them to compete for the first positions in the Qatar Championship.
