Diab bin Mohammed bin Zayed witnesses the launch of the Emirates Youth Council for Humanitarian Action

Abu Dhabi, February 7 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Development Affairs and Families of the Martyrs, Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council, witnessed the launch of the Emirates Youth Council for Humanitarian Action by the International Humanitarian Affairs Council in cooperation with the Federal Youth Foundation, In order to enable young people to contribute effectively to achieving sustainable international development goals.

On this occasion, His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the council’s launch comes as an extension of an authentic Emirati approach founded by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul”, and his entrepreneurship was the rational leadership towards enabling the UAE youth to contribute to the societal and international contribution in various sectors Human, charitable and developmental work, and harnessing their energies and abilities in the service of all humanity.
His Highness explained that the launch of the Emirates Youth Council for Humanitarian Action is the embodiment of the civilized and humanitarian message of the UAE and its inspiring vision towards the development of societies and peoples around the world, and building youthful capabilities in humanitarian work by involving them in decision -making and achieving growth and prosperity, as well as perpetuating the culture of giving and giving, noting His Highness is the importance of providing young people with the necessary skills and competencies required to enable them to contribute the desired contribution to achieving the positive impact in the lives of millions of people, especially in the areas most in need and weak.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, pointed out that the work of the Emirates Youth Council for Humanitarian Action is based on six main axes represented in empowering youth, education and knowledge, social responsibility, innovation, environmental sustainability, and communication, by implementing programs Educational and training, organizing educational introductory workshops, providing community innovative solutions, exchanging experiences and knowledge in relief aspects, employing technology capabilities to serve humanity, and promoting sustainable environmental projects.
The Emirates Youth Council is headed by Humanitarian Action in its first session (2025-2027), Mohammed Al Shamsi, from the Office of Development Affairs at the Presidential Court, and it includes Sarah Al Mazrouei from the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Action in the position of Vice President, and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Saeed Al Nahyan from the Zayed Foundation For charitable and humanitarian works, Khawla Al -Rayami from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Tariq Al -Ali from the Dar Al -Bar Association, Afra Al -Suwaidi from the Hamid bin Rashid Al -Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, Muhammad Al -Mani from the Sharjah Charitable Society, Maryam Al -Suwaidi from the Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Work, and Sheikh Al -Tunaiji from Umm Al -Quwain Charitable Society, Nada Al -Marzouqi from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Initiative Foundation, and the media Marwan Al -Shehhi.
