The President of the State and the Prime Minister of Pakistan are discussing cooperation relations between the two countries

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, received the state of Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who is on a work visit to the state, during which he participates in the “World Summit of Governments 2025” that is held in Dubai under the slogan “foresight Future governments. ”

His Highness and the Pakistani Prime Minister – during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – discussed the paths of cooperation and joint work between the UAE and Pakistan and the opportunities available to enhance them, in a way that supports their mutual interests, especially in the economic, commercial and development fields and other aspects that enhance the visions of the two countries towards achieving development and economic prosperity Sustainable.

The meeting touched on the global summit of governments and its importance in monitoring global trends in the field of government work, and providing visions and strategies that can be implemented to enhance governments’ willingness to deal with global transformations, and invest in accelerating development and achieving a better future for societies.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them .. foremost of which is the developments of the situation in the Middle East region, stressing in this context the need to intensify the efforts of the international community in order to work to open new horizons for permanent and comprehensive peace that is based on The “two -state solution”, which guarantees the maintenance of security, stability and regional peace.

Promote historical relations

For his part, the state of Mohamed Shahbaz Sharif stressed Pakistan’s keenness to strengthen the historical relations that it brings together with the UAE, and to continue to expand the horizons of their cooperation, especially in the economic, commercial and investment fields that are consistent with the priorities of development in the two countries.
